Data labeling strategy

To define the right data labeling strategy depending on our clients needs is a pre-requisite which should not be under estimated as it will save time and effort in the long term. A right strategy should remain agile and adjustable, as the project progresses. We divide our project into three phases: test, ramp up, production. Those phases must be detailed out : content, duration, deliverables, team size. On top of that, the labeling workflows, validation processes, quality metrics should be defined and adjustable during each phase of the project.

Tool selection

There are many data labeling tools on the market and our clients might have their own tool. 

To be as efficient as possible, we help our clients select the right tool depending on their labeling needs. We also provide the needed customizations to facilitate data upload and labeled data recovery.  

Team set up

The right team set up is key in successful data labeling projects. Depending on the complexity and timeline of a project, we build an adapted team in terms of skills and size. We select labelers and train them to our clients’ needs : we provide a formal training at the beginning of each project, labelers will then continuously improve thanks to techniques (“ask, speak, interact”) which will accelerate their ramp up to the labeling proficiency.

Project management

Thanks to our experienced project managers, we closely monitor quality and timeline to deliver our projects on time and on budget, according to our pre-defined strategy.

We communicate on a regular basis, providing metrics, progression status, but also questions and feedback requests.

We believe our clients reactivity is a key factor of success : a labeling project should not be a black box, the quality of our deliveries highly depends on the regular and accurate feedbacks we will receive from our clients to ensure the teams’ continuous improvement.
